     Lois Emilia Barner was born on Friday, 4 December 1914 at Oval, Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Guy Fountain Barner and Myrtle Viola Epler. Lois married, at the age of 16 Leslie Merrill Karstetter, age 22, son of Henry Newton Karstetter and Effie Rebecca Miller, on Friday, 14 August 1931 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, They were third cousins one time removed. In addition to being husband and wife, Lois and Leslie were also third cousins one time removed. She died on Saturday, 15 December 2007 at the age of 93 years and 11 days at Manor Care Health Services, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
