     Francis Glenmar Barner was born on Saturday, 2 March 1907 at Tyrone, Snyder Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Lee Barner and Grace Eugenia Smith. Francis married, at the age of 17 Dorothy Ellen Calderwood, age 15, daughter of James E. Calderwood and Ada Marie Dickson, on Saturday, 8 November 1924 at Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland. He died due to an Automobile Accident on Thursday, 6 September 1956 at the age of 49 years, 6 months and 4 days at Altoona Hospital, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
