     Leona Genevieve Barner was born on Monday, 15 April 1912 at Renovo, Chapman Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Dayton Barner and Betsy Lucas. Leona married, at the age of 17 Thomas Henry Kirkman, son of Thomas Kirkman and Jane Hunt, on Monday, 28 October 1929 at Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She died on Friday, 16 May 2003 at age 91 years, 1 month and 1 day at Bucktail Medical Center, Renovo, Chapman Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, where she had been a resident for the past 2 years. She was buried at North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, Chapman Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
