     Richard E. Barner Sr. was born on Friday, 3 November 1916 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Frank Albert Barner and Amanda Lydia Jane Sheesley. Richard married Helen C. Lodge, daughter of John Guy Lodge and Goldie M. Miller. He died on Wednesday, 14 October 1992 at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 11 days at Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
