William Ellsworth Weight was born on Thursday, 13 September 1866 at Clearfield, Lawrence Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Weight and Abby L. [?]. William married, at the age of 25 Catherine Elizabeth Brungard, age 21, daughter of Henry James Brungard and Rebecca Barner, on Tuesday, 8 March 1892 at Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, by S. J. Taylor. He died on Monday, 4 August 1941 at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 22 days at Howard, Centre County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Lamar Township (near Mill Hall), Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
