     James E. McCauley was born on Saturday, 30 May 1931 at Mackeyville, Lamar Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Lee M. McCauley and Bessie Amanda Barner. James married Elizabeth M. Bower. He died on Thursday, 16 June 2011 at the age of 80 years and 17 days at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Monday, 20 June 2011 at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Dunnstable Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
