     Elwood Melvin Barner was born on Monday, 13 January 1908 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Wesley Barner and Nellie Elizabeth Barner. Elwood married (1) Elsie A. Hill. Elwood married (2) Gladys Bloser, daughter of David Bloser and Sadie [?]. He died on Sunday, 12 November 2000 at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 30 days at Sarah Todd Nursing Home, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was cremated on 17 November 2000 by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Colonial Park, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
