Helen Elizabeth Barner was born on Friday, 17 February 1922 at Woodward Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Robert Daniel Barner and Olive May Sutton. Helen married, at the age of 20 John Adam Schroeder, age 25 on Thursday, 16 July 1942. She died gracefully with dignity and respect to her wishes at the home of her daughter Helen on Wednesday, 22 March 2006 at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 5 days at Brookline, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Monday, 27 March 2006.
