Kathryn Elizabeth Knauff was born on Friday, 1 December 1911 at Oakland, Alameda County, California. She was the daughter of Arthur Curtis Knauff and Mary Colista Bickell. Kathryn married (1), at the age of 23 William John Brandenburg, age 26, son of William Henry Brandenburg and Meta Luttman, on Saturday, 13 July 1935 at Lake Tahoe, Placer County, California. Kathryn married (2) Edgar Rowell, son of John Basil and Eva Irene Feighner. She died on Saturday, 17 January 1998 at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 16 days.
