     Edward Miles Barner was born on Monday, 13 December 1909 at Bellefonte, Centre County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Edward Barner and Florence Virginia Wian. Edward married, at the age of 33 Elizabeth Clark Henry, age 30, daughter of Solomon Henry and Violet Watson, on Saturday, 20 February 1943. He died on Monday, 13 January 1986 at the age of 76 years and 1 month at Divine Providence Hospital, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
