Relationship=3rd great-grandson of Adam Barner.
Harry Eugene Barner was born on Friday, 8 April 1904 at Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Absalom M. Barner and Sarah Ann Sheaffer. Harry married (1), at the age of 20 Gertrude Marie Simons, age 18, daughter of Guy Simons and Grace Alleger, on Thursday, 21 August 1924. Harry married (2), at the age of 61 Ruth Terry Bretscher, age 59 on Saturday, 20 November 1965. He died on Wednesday, 19 March 1975 at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 11 days at Fort Hughes Hospital, Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
