     Helen nmi Barner was born on Wednesday, 2 May 1900 at Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Absalom M. Barner and Sarah Ann Sheaffer. Helen married, at the age of 21 Roy Sheaffer, age 21, son of John Elmer Sheaffer and Alice Sarah Barner, on Wednesday, 29 June 1921. In addition to being husband and wife, Helen and Samuel were also third cousins one time removed. She died on Sunday, 27 August 1967 at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 25 days at Washington, DC. She was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Prince George's County, Maryland.
